Dog Bay Road - Herchel Forest Trail Loop. From Sunrise Lodge go to Baptiste Lake North Road. Go right to Dog Bay Road at km 0.6. Follow Dog Bay Road to the end at km 10.4. This is Herschel Forest Trail (there is no sign at this intersection). Turn right and follow through McGarry Flats to the stop sign at km 16.1 and turn right. At 16.6 km, the road turns left - DON'T - go straight, through the tree debris to 16.9 km. You are back to Baptiste Lake North Road. Turn right and return to Sunrise Lodge.

Mostly Easy with some Intermediate Hills

Dog Bay Road - Outlook Loop. From Sunrise Lodge go to Baptiste Lake North Road. Go right to Dog Bay Road at km 0.6. Follow Dog Bay Road past Hay Bay Trail where the road becomes "Unmaintained" and fun. At km 6.1, turn left onto Outlook Loop Trail, and easy ride to about the 8.5 km mark, where it starts to get hilly. At 9.4 km, you will see the lake to your left. At km 11.5 Outlook Loop Trail goes right from the main trail. This intersection is easy to miss, but on my last ride, there was a "Washout Ahead" sign here. (If you come t o a major washout - small lake - at 12.5 km, you've missed the turn.) On Outllok Loop, at km 12.0 the trail has collapse from a small washput and you'll have to carry your bike through. It's an easy portage of a few metres. At km 15.0, you arrive back at Dog Bay Road. Turn right and return to Sunrise Lodge.

Easy start and easy at the end, with a fun intermediate middle

Lost Trail Loop. I found this trail by chance and I love it! From S unrise Lodge go to Baptiste Lake North Road. Go right to Dog Bay Road at km 0.6. Follow Dog Bay Road past Hay Bay Trail past Outlook Loop Trail down a fun descent. At the bottom as you finish the descent, there's a marsh to the left and at km 6.8 a trail to the right. It looks overgrown but do it! There are several side trails along the way but stay on what appears to be the main trail; it's easy to take a wrong turn. At km 10.7, you'll come to and intersection. Up the trail to the left is a gate, go right to km 11.3 where you arrive at Herschel Forest Trail and McGarry Flats. Go right through McGarry Flats to the stop sign at km 12.5 and turn right. At 13.0 km, the road turns left - DON'T - go straight, through the tree debris to 13.3 km. You are back to Baptiste Lake North Road. Turn right and return to Sunrise Lodge.

Hound LakeTrail - out and back. From Sunrise Lodge go to Baptiste Lake North Road. Go right to Dog Bay Road at km 0.6. Follow Dog Bay Road to 1.4 km, turn right onto Hound Lake Trail. At km 3.4 the trail forks, go left and dowm a fast fun descent to the end at 4.3 km. Climb back out and return to Sunrise Lodge.

Easy with some hills

Jack's Lane / Baptiste Lake North Road - out and back.. From Sunrise Lodge go to Baptiste Lake North Road and turn left Just ahead at 0.4 km, is Jack's Lane to the right. Follow Jack's Lane to km 2.1 where you join Baptiste Lake North Road again and turn right. Ride to the end at 3.4 km and return to Sunrise Lodge. (Alternate short side roads are left at km 2.4 or right at 2.8).
